Chickens just died

Hi I used to have 2 barred rocks and a buff now my 2 barred rocks died due to overheating and it's really putting my down. I just recently got into chickens and I'm starting to feel like I'm just not deserving to have them. I am 18 and I still live in my parents house (because I'm going to college) and my mom thinks that's I'm not responsible enough to handle them even though it was an accident they died and I cared about them a lot.

Sorry for your loss. What happened? People do get busy and sometimes that throws their schedules off. Something that older folks learn the hard way.

There have been alot of animals that are lost due to too much 'kindness'. Even good intentions don't always work out.
