chickens laying eggs

I have 5 chickens that lay on a constent basis. I average between 6 and 8 eggs per day. For the past couple of weeks one of the chickens has been sitting on her eggs in the coup. The other chickens have now stopped laying eggs in there. They are still laying somewhere because my dog is always finding the eggs but I haven't been able to locate where they are laying now. My question is...after the babies hatch will the chickens go back to laying in the coup again? Have they stopped because of the hen sitting on the eggs?

I don't know the answer to your questions, but my first thought was put another nest box in the coop and put an egg in it so they get the idea its ok to use it. How many roosters do you have?
