I have 4 golden comets that are 2 years old, I just introduced 4 one year olds and 2 six month old hens to the flock. I also have a 2 year old rooster. I was getting 2 eggs a day consistently before I introduced the new girls. It has been almost 3 weeks and I am getting LESS eggs! some days we don't get any, others we get one or two at the very most! The girls are let out of the coop very early in the morning into a very large fenced in pen where they can come and go as desired and they seem to be getting along just fine, they established pecking order very quickly and we havent had any fights. Do you think my girls could still be stressed since the move/introduction and I am over-reacting to the fact that we aren't getting more eggs? Is there anything that I can do to encourage egg laying? Thanks for your anticipated help!

Welcome to BYC.
The stress from the move the introductions takes time, in extreme cases six weeks. I don't know if this applies but heat can also effect egg laying. Now throw in the fact that they soon may be molting and it could be a while before production goes up, or it could start tomorrow. So don't over stress your self.
