Hi all,

About two months ago, one of my chickens started limping badly on her left foot and didn't want to move at all. There was no sign of injury or bumblefoot. I searched online for possible causes and ruled out being eggbound. I thought maybe she had a stroke based on what I read on this forum. Over time, she has improved and though she still limps a little, she moves around with her little flock, forages, and eats normally now.

Then one morning another one of my chickens didn't want to come out of the coop, and when I checked on her, found she was limping badly. Again, there's no sign of injury. Again, the problem is with the left foot.

In my searching, I haven't found anything that would indicate why another chicken would get the same ailment. Is anyone familiar with an issue like this? And how to keep it from happening again (I only have one other chicken)?

Thanks!

I JUST posted the exact same thing!! How weird. Hopefully we can help solve this together!
