Read my thread, it really helped my little girl: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...sed-update-1-20-14-pictures/120#post_12879207 I had one that had her backside off, she was so close to dying we were going to get her euthanized (we don't caul) *I washed her wounds from beginning, with warm water. *Peroxide only 2x's the 1st 2 days ONLY *Vetericyn from beginning to healed (buy the big bottle) *Neosporin from beginning to healed *Duramycin that I have in a powder form water. since day one for 12-14 days. *spray her with vetericyn and finishing with neosporin. *Feed high protein food, tuna fish and scrambled eggs.

I will remember those things if it happens again. Sadly he didn't make it I guess his wounds was internal also. He started panting for breath heavily so I thought if I gave him space he would calm then I checked on him not even 5 minutes later and he was gone. I guess it was meant for him to survive that attack and make it back home so I got to bury him.
