chickens nails

do i need to trim my chickens nails like i do with the dogs and cats?

my gals free range and have a run...i was looking at their nails last night and they look long but they are not bothering them when they walk

Our pet hen used to get pedicures and loved it. We didnt trim them but pink polish does wonders for white feathers!! Glamour girl. I know my daughter and I are sick!!
