Chickens Names

I have 7, 11 week olds. I am new to chickens and was told to not name them if I wanna eat them. . . . I have no plans to eat them at this point. I have three all white silkies. . . two which turned out to be roos. I named one Elvis cause of his floppy feather do on top of his head. The other two silkies still need names. (Maybe Lenny and Pretty Girl) I have a speckled sussex roo who I named Lucky since he was the only survivor of the 7 that I hatched. (Oddly, the other 6 died within 40 min. of each other at two days old and I have no idea why. . .tragic. They looked like they were suffering . . . .Lucky was so sad to be alone so I gave him a stuffed animal. The next day I bought 6 more chicks for him and he was elated!) I named my 3 reds (NH reds, RI's or red sexed???) Momma- she's a caring, dominant one who is quite smart, and the other two are Lavern and Shirley. I can't really tell them apart. I don't really call them out by their names, but they all will come a running when I say, "Here Ladies! Come Ladies". Hopefully the roos aren't offended.

Our star spangled hemburg roo is Henery, 2 star spangled hemburg hens are Fluff and Flake. Red aricanna is Lucy, grey aricanna Beep-beep. Oldest hen is a sexlink named Gertrude. Spanish white faced bantam is called Raptor. Two white ducks, not sure breed, Harriet and Momma. Just got four new birds tonight, gonna look up breeds and looking for names!?

These are my new babies - got them a week ago today! Their names (from left to right) are Dorothy, Betsy & Gertrude. They're great!

I like some of these names..

.. I have just a few of mine named. Most are Game birds. My rooster is Popeye, Some of the hens are, Gladus, She's the queen of the flock. Then I have Beatrice she's 2nd in rank. Then it goes like Red, Sandy, Lil' girl, wimpy,.. I have a guinea named Spike. his feathers stand up down his back.

I posted earlier in the thread but two of our birds, Zebra and Rainbow, ended up being roos. We got two more after rehoming the roos. One is a Sizzle named Stormy and one is a Polish/Silkie and her name is Butternut.

I also think that "Rowdy" would be a good name for a rooster!
