My next door neighbor just before passing asked me to take his hens to add to my existing flock. One hen months before survived a raccoon attack that scared her neck, the feathers never grew back. A couple months ago I believe she was egg bound, she seemed okay a couple of days before, she stopped eating and drinking. The next morning as usual came to feed my chickens, my hen waited patiently lifted her head up to say goodby. Closed her eyes an fell asleep.

My two older hens have been with me since 2017, recently one of the older hens stopped eating and drinking for about 3 -4 days. We had a very hot week, I believe it was too much for her. I have provided cool treats and a fan for a cool breeze. No hope.
I noticed with both hens they waited until I came for feeding time before saying goodby. Animals seem to know when their time is near. I have noticed that with a couple human friends that passed, they stopped eating and drinking as their time was at hand.
Most religious bible teachers gloss over things that many pet and livestock owners question. If animals are God's creatures will we see them on the other side. It would be narcissistic to think only humans only go to heaven, it would be dull not to see them there to.

Somewhere in the bible stories it was said there was a talking donkey or mule.
So do we finally get to converse with our animals, It's just a fun idea to think about. Better than thinking of all the current depressing news these days.
There’s at least one other talking animal in the Bible but maybe not one I would like to have a conversation with…

Scripture assures us there will be animals in the new earth (heaven, or paradise), and the animals will be at peace with one another. Isaiah 65:25 and Isa. 11:6-9. The Bible does NOT say specifically that our beloved pets will be there. But it does say that heaven will be beyond our wildest imagination - "more than we can ask or think," (Eph. 3:20) and that there will be things there "that have not entered into the heart of man," (1 Cor. 2:9). In other words, God has some big surprises for us. He wants us to be happy. Personally, I do believe our loved pets will be there because of these clues, but this is just speculation on my part.. We will just have to wait and see, but I trust Him.

I believe animals absolutely go to Heaven and that we'll see them again! If not, I want to go where THEY go! <3

Do your animals not communicate with you already? When it's close to lunch time my dogs come and stare at me, smiling and dancing. Clearly they are saying, "Come on Mom, let's go! Get with the program, it's feeding time! There's hungry people here!" There's no mistaking their message.

One day in a park a magpie sat near me and tugged open a paper bag where it found the remnants of a peanut butter sandwich in a wadded-up plastic bag. I watched as it struggled to get the sandwich out of the bag for several minutes. Finally it hopped over to me and looked me in the eye, rather impatiently I thought, then looked back at the sandwich. It hopped a few steps toward the treat then looked at me again. I laughed out loud. How could I resist such a clear request for help? Okay, I said and opened the bag. My reward was that the bird ate its treat next to me as I ate my own lunch, and continued to visit with me for quite some time - without regard for my two dogs, who sat next to me, looking completely bemused.

Animals are doing their best to communicate with us all the time. We just have to pay attention.

I have no doubt they'll be waiting for me.
