I have two chickens that are barely eating anything, they are not even interested in their favorite food... one of them have been like this for about two weeks and the other just started few days ago. They both have dry fowl pox btw. I checked their throat and nothing weird inside. One of them has a pale comb. I haven't noticed any more weird symptoms. They just pick on the food and look at it but are not interested. I also noticed that when they do eat they break the food to small bits. It’s very hot right now but I don’t think it’s because of the heat because this never happened when the heat was worse. Also both of them were always the most excited about food…

I don't what to do to help them, last time this happened I ended up with a dead chicken. I would really appreciate any help.

It could very well be the heat. Chickens can handle cold but heat is a different animal. Where are you located?
It could also be the feed. It needs to be fresh. What is the mill date on the bag of feed? Even if it is only humid and not rainy, combined with heat, the feed can develop mold making it rancid. Not tasty.

I live in the middle east, it’s not humid at all right now. The rest of my flock are eating the feed just fine, it’s just these two chickens…also I offered them tomatoes, cucumber and scrambled eggs but they barely ate any. The reason I don’t think it’s the heat is because the rest of the flock is fine and I also brought one inside the house but she still wasn’t interested in food.
