Hi,
I have 6 chickens and only 2 of them are laying(possibly 3).
They are all 29 weeks. Is this old for them to not lay eggs??
This is my first go with chickens:)
Thanks

And I bet it won't be your last go. Well, at least I hope it won't. Some more information might be helpful. First, what breed of chickens are they and do they free range? Also, my egg production is way down due to the polar vortex that came in last week. My girls got a real shock to their system with freezing temperatures and I'm in south Texas. That's just not normal.

hang in there I almost gave up on mine too but 4 days before they were 6 months I got eggs and only one of mine is laying but she has only missed 1 day in 12 days since first egg I also put a light out there for a few extra hours it comes on at 5:30pm and off at 10pm and that really helped. good luck
