Chickens Not Laying Enough Eggs.

Not my question, but I found this youtuber asking for help. Following his video to see what could be the reason for poor egg laying of his chickens. Any ideas maybe the introduction of the new chickens has started a pecking order dispute?

I'm not going to watch the video but chickens production varies from season to season, diet, worm, age etc.

At 3-4 years old they're older birds so they're just not going to lay as much. Only real solution to the problem is get more birds. Doesn't help that Brahmas aren't known to be the best layers anyways and if that rhodie is of a production line they especially can drop off hard

Edit: I see the Brahmas are the new birds. Even so his existing birds are still getting up there

I found it weird he threw the egg in the run, that is just asking for them to think of eggs as food.

Your choice of chicken....not high production layers...and now they are past their prime....also stop throwing eggs into the pen!! It also appears the one egg layer is pecking her egg. And could be eating eggs!
