My welsummers are growing up now,13 weeks old and absolutely brilliant members of the family. The rooster is starting to crow and his feathers are growing in fast now. He is getting naughty for chasing my dog but I tell him off and seems to work. However they are obsessed with wanting to come inside.... Even get up and watch me through the window 🙈 very happy with my little brood

My fluffy butts come inside every time I leave the kitchen door open. They aren't usually in long enough to poop but it has happened I think three times. It's a tile floor though so I don't mind. The chickens are very comfortable walking around an picking any crumbs off the floor and just flat out chilling.

Not Welsummers, unfortunately. So cute though!

Congratulations you have house chickens!! :lau
I’d love a few..too bad about the poop, and the crowing though :loveAnd im sure the cats would have an opposing opinion about it too...
I tried to section a bit of garden off to try and keep them from pooping everywhere but they do everything in there power to get to the house 😅 I don't mind they are such amazing personalities. They are like second children 😂

Glad it's not just mine 😂 they are just so comfortable around people but I suppose that is not a bad thing 😁 they also love the kids trampoline but poo all over it 🙈

Ah that's what I bought them as, either way they are nice big chucks with bags of personality and all very tame as had them from 1 week old. Breed not very important but would be nice to find out exactly what they are then? 🙄

They look like Freedom/Red rangers. Meat birds, but the hens lay many eggs.

I didn’t notice they weren’t welsummers until it was pointed out but yeah I have welsummers and yours aren’t it. I’m not experienced enough to help though. The one on the chair kinda looks like one.

Here’s some photos of my welsummer, Scratch. She’s a good girl. ❤️
