ABINGDON, Va. -- Some residents in Abingdon, Virginia are expressing concern about chickens in their neighborhood.
Taylor's Hill has been dealing with chickens on the loose for a few years.
Some residents have even gone to the town asking for help.
A town ordinance prohibits neighbors from allowing chickens to roam outside their property.
Steps have been taken to try and capture some of the chickens, but more than a dozen still remain. "We hope that they can just be gathered up and put somewhere or something and not be in everybody's way I guess," said resident Elizabeth Ivery.
The concerned residents say they'll continue to ask the town for action until all the chickens are gone.
