Chickens & Peacocks....

This morning I looked out my window and saw a Peacock in my front yard. I have no idea where he came from.. I dont have any close neighbors... Anyhow - hes hanging around and I m worried to let my chickens out. Will he attack my chickens?

Hey may fight your roosters, but the hens should be perfectly fine. I had a random guinea show up...he was just looking for companionship.

we hada peacockshow up many years ago . we had chickens and a turkey . they got along fine. he stayed with us over a year and when he moved on he got up in a tree in the peoples behind us and they shot him because he made to much noise

My peafowl do fine with my chickens. And it seems chickens are more likely to give peafowl diseases than peafowl give chickens.....

It is getting closer to breeding season for them so he was probably looking for a girlfriend................

Peafowl wander worse than guineas. They make a noise which some people call god awful though. I think it's amusing till it's right outside my window though....

Should be fine with chickens.
