Chickens peaking at there eggs help please.

My chics just started to lay eggs I'm only getting 1 egg but they seem to be chipping the egg can someone please help.

I had an egg-eater that we ended up having to get rid of, but all my chickens still love egg and will eat any they find broken.

Here are some ways to prevent egg-eating:
Keep nest boxes clean, well padded, and collect eggs twice a day
Don't let them get a first taste or they will be hooked
Make the nest boxes dark, so they can't see the eggs as easily
