Thank you. She just struggles with it now. Loves mica. I got a nesting box mix of herbs and flowers that are supposed to help. She gets really flooffy when she needs to lay but it will take the entire night before she can finally lay.My older hen (8/9 years old) still lays during the spring and summer, and she’s completely fine. Make sure your hen has a good balanced diet and yours would most likely be fine too. You can also limit the light time, to mimic winters conditions, so she has a longer break from laying.
