Glad you joined.Sounds like a lovely little flock.....you chose some very sweet breeds. I love their names.Thank you!!!! I have two Easter Eggers, one Plymouth Barred Rock, and one Astrolorp. The Easter Eggers names are Tulip and Sweet Pea. The Black Astrolorp's name is Buttercup and the Plymouth Barred Rock's name is Poppy!!! Lovely birds. So much fun to watch and I enjoy the responsibility!!! First time owner and now I want more! Thank you!

You have no idea the restraint I have to have when I hatch chicks. I put two for me, 20 for them in two brooders in separate rooms. When the last customer was on their way here yesterday, I knew better, so I begrudgingly put the "two for me" back with the rest. They're all gone now.Sounds like a lovely little flock.....you chose some very sweet breeds. I love their names.
Yes, they are addicting creatures....I actually swore up and down I wasn't going to make any changes to our flock (currently 'only' 12) this year, and then I put 24 eggs in the incubator![]()
More hatch Friday.
