Well I am prepared to get pooped on lol I will be holding them once in awhile n here n there. I read my chicks can go out to their coop at six weeks long as it's 65 degrees, then read 50 degrees??? Not sure when to put them out?? I'm in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast B.C.
Are those your lows or highs? I put mine out at 8 weeks into a temporary run with a straw-stuffed doghouse while I finish the coop. They could have gone out sooner, but I really was hoping to finish. Anyway, the temps here have ranged wildly...it was 72 today, but it snowed on Sunday. They've been fine. I think the lowest it got was 30 degrees, which had me worrying, but no issues. I just make sure they have plenty of food, they have areas to get out of any precipitation, and there's a windbreak.
