Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows about a product to put on chickens to keep them from pecking each other. I have one chickens that always gets her feathers pulled out on her head partially from the rooster, but also the other chickens. The feathers grow back and then get pulled out again. It never goes to blood, but I feel bad for her. Does anyone know something I could put on her to stop this?

same with my chickens except they started bleeding:( I'm sorry to say but there isn't anything we could do about it. However, when they get older they wont fight as much.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah I’m lucky she never starts bleeding. They have gotten better. It’s just every time she grows the feathers all back they get plucked again. They are all free range, so during the day she can get away.

What about the time they are confined...how much space do they have?
Also how old are these birds?
I think their coop is 8 by 8. They are only confined at night. The chickens are one and two years old. The one that gets pecked is a little over a year old.

Get out your tape measure...and your camera. :D
How many birds to total?
Is it one of the younger birds that is getting picked on?
It’s 8 foot by 8 foot. We have 10 birds. 7 of them are two years old, and 3 are 1 year old. The one that gets picked on is one of the year olds.
