I was wondering if you can put rabbits & chickens together? they have their own cages, but i was wondering if it would be safe for them to be in run area together? the older chickens are about 3 to 4 months old. the rabbits are about 4 to 5 weeks old. our baby chicks already have their own little run area. any suggestions will be appreciated! thanks:)

I have rabbits and chickens running together but their all free ranging so I don't know about close quarters. I have watched the rabbits come to get a drink or eat some of the chicken feed and a couple of the chickens peck at the rabbits but don't really attack them.

ok thanks. the run area is quite a bit. i just wanted to make sure the rabbits wouldn't try to eat the chickens.

One of my girls is a Black Sex Link that the property owner left behind. So she use to run free thru the property. We have a ton of wild rabbits here and she attacked and chased the rabbit out of her area. I would use caution putting your rabbits with them but then again my girl has issues and it might only be her.
