Chickens randomly dying?

Ranging from 2 months to 11 months. The feed is from rural king, layer pellets...I don't know the exact brand and I'm not home right now. I'm in central PA. I'll find out where we can take one for a necropsy. Thank you!
Do check your pellets, also. There is a feed store near me that is always damp, & I've gotten moldy feed there twice.

The site has added a "Similar Posts" list where the New Posts used to be under the reply section on threads, beware of raising Zombie posts ;)

So we've had a lot of chickens just die. No real signs of anything being wrong. Not too hot or cold, plenty of food and water. No signs of attacks or anything. No blood. They'll be acting perfectly fine and then suddenly they lay down, refuse to get up, and are dead within minutes. Any ideas what we should look into?
We brought one hen in that acted funny, she recovered and we moved her back outside. Now we have chicks that were in a separate broader in the same room randomly dying as well. I'm really lost and unsure of what to do.
So what was the outcome of the necropsy?

Hopefully the OP will reply, but this thread started in 2018 and they have not been on since 2019. Why on earth they thought in this upgrade that putting Zombie Threads (old similar threads) at the bottom of pages was a good thing I have no idea. I've been getting alerts to very old threads the last few days... Just adds to the confusion. :idunno

Yeah, I saw the age but it sure would be great if someone who was planning on a necropsy would post the results. It would be so helpful.
