Our chickens are now 22 weeks old, from the information I have found it says around 20 weeks they will start laying eggs. We have open the nesting boxes in the coop. Is there any signs we should look for to know when they will start laying eggs? What feed to recommend to feed chickens at 22 weeks? Should we feed them oyster shells as well?

Thank you in advance for the help!

They should soon.But.it is winter, shorter days, colder days etc.Likely waiting for may or march to lay.
I will warn,BUFFs aren't number 1 layers
