I have 4 baby chicks around 4 weeks. I never realized the phrase "your a chicken" said to a person that is scared was so true. Lol
Anything new and these chicks are so scared of it, it's almost sad.
Treats, new food dish, roosting stick, you name it.
Today their first day outside. Just for some outside time not permanent yet. They aren't screaming thankfully but all staying in the same place I put them when I set them in the pen I set up for them. Hope it won't take too long for them to start enjoying the fresh air and grass.

The sounds they make when they see something new always makes me smile. I agree with chickassan, after an hour or less my birds lose interest in whatever it is. Especially now that they are 9 weels old. They come running to check out whatever it is that's new and after a few minutes they go back to their business lol
