Chickens sleeping on roof?! How to dsiscourage this?!

I used to have a couple who roosted up there because my dominant hen didn't let them in. We put a doghouse in the enclosure as alternate housing for the rejected. Eventually they worked it out. Unfortunately, concerned neighbors then wanted to know why I was keeping the dog in the chicken enclosure. Can't win 'em all.
