Well, I could only find a 16 gauge needle yesterday and that seemed way too big to be injecting tylan 50 into a chicken so i put 1 cc down their throats last night.
Everyone seems to be better this morning as far as the sneezing, head shaking, and snotty noses
However, when I was picking each of them (12 hens) their breathing sounded like a coffeemaker
When putting the syringe in the beak i make sure to hold their tongues down and aim for the back of their throats so I hope none is getting into their lungs at this point.
The only syringe I could find is a 12mL so it's quite large and cant fit all the way down their gullets
Just wondering if this is from the respiratory issue they have or i'm putting the tylan in their lungs...
