Chickens standing in the rain

Thanks for all the replies! Now I'm not that worried about my chickens! If any of you guys could go check out my thread about what breeds they are and help me figure out the breeds I would appreciate that very much!:):):D
 
My chickens go out in the rain more than any of our other animals do! I'm in the NW too, so going out in the rain is a valuable skill in winter. Since I have horses, goats and a pig who all run for shelter when the rain starts, and will huddle there all day, all winter, if they have to, I was pleased to see the chickens still out living life when it rains. They don't melt. :) Goats though, apparently do.
 
Some of my chickens want nothing to do with the rain, while others can't wait to be let out into it. One reason they like the rain: it brings the bugs out! It's good foraging when there's rain.
