My girls have several perches at different heights in their coop/run. It’s a rather large coop open air with chicken wire walls so they have fresh air. Living in Arizona, the summers are often way over 100 and some nights the air is quite still. I wet the area down and have a fan running to help lower the temperature. The last two nights one of my girls would not go in to the coop with the other girls. When I go out at dusk, I have to search for her and put her to roost with the others. I can’t figure out why she would suddenly change her habits. I did have a perch break two nights ago and thought maybe she was afraid of it now, but all the other girls don’t have a problem so I am not sure that would’ve the reason. Any thoughts? Thanks!
