Chickens under the willow

I have have just joined this forum and keep my chickens under a weeping willow tree. They roost at night up the tree.

Is the tree in a fence? Or how did you keep them safe from predators?

The tree is enclosed and they don't show any attempt to escape into the big outside world.

I guess I wouldn't be as concerned about the chickens escaping as I would be about predators getting to them.
