Thanks for sharing! I give mine cooked oatmeal a few times a week (they go crazy over it) but I'm going to try some brown rice that's been sitting in the cabinet!

Watching chickens eat is fascinating. They are such messy eaters, but they're meticulous about tidying up their mess around the food dish.

Yes. The leghorn with the blue band is the lead hen. Her name is Azul. The other leghorn, Ajo, is just below her we think.

Not the case with these birds. They are spoiled rotten I assure you. They've never missed a meal. Most times they scoff at their layer feed because they want treats first.

That was my guess. Anytime i have had a leghorn they were always in charge, LOL. The video was long enough to start learning your flock. The lowest in the order seems to be the darkest brown hen, right? They are a very pretty flock.
