Ok, so my 12 week old chickens are out in the run and I have been letting them out some to free range. It has become quite a sight when the chipmunk runs though the run, grabs some food and down the hole! This is a constant happening throughout the day. Suddenly the chickens will catch sight of the chipmunk and go dashing after it. Today one of my Red stars got a hold of the chippy, but it got away. They are bold as brass, I wonder if the chicken is capable of doing much damage or if it's just a game? I read recently on here that a chicken will eat a mouse!
