You could just let them stay out, but you know it's a gamble. They could be just fine for months & months, then suddenly one morning you'll come out to find scattered feathers & chicken parts.
I know. I speak from experience.
And if conditions were good for raccoons to live nearby at one time, there are certain to be more at some future date.
Some birds just get fixated on a particular spot to roost, others will be tempted follow their example. You'll need to either make that coop top uncomfortable for them to use for roosting, or make a physical barricade between them & the coop top. Perhaps you could use plastic deer netting tacked from the coop eves to the edges of the fence, so there's no way they have access to the top.
