Chickens who hop fence to ravage garden

I have over 30 dark cornish hens and 6 of them are fence hoppers. Found solution was to catch hens when in yard then pen up for the day in a small cage. The next day none of the hens that spent the day in a small cage jumped the fence. They have over 8 acres and there is no reason to mess with me.

Sure they do, because you exist to service them. Kinda like cats but with feathers and eggs.
