Chickens Will Not Roost In Coop

After having a flock of laying hens for years, I decided to add a small flock of game chickens (aquired from a friend as chicks) They are currently five months old and I free range them.
My problem is they are roosting in trees at night and not the coop. They seem none the worst for wear, and I have lost none to critters.
But I get concerned with it rains all night knowing they are out in the elements. Any suggestions?

Try locking them in the coop for a few days, that will teach them where to sleep, Good luck!

I had the same problem except the chickens insisted on sleeping on top of the coop which sits inside another fully protected area. So each night I had to put the chickens to bed. After I had their wings clipped because of a problem with a neighbor they couldn't fly up to the roof and went straight into the coop as they should have in the first place.
