Here's my hen with feathers missing and dusted with Diatomaceous Earth today She still pecks at the area I dont know what to do but wait I cant feature putting a saddle on her I have to trick her to even do the dusting , kinda throw it on her while she is eating Is driving me crazy
Try bathing them in a warm bath with vinegar and dawn dish soap. Keep submerged up to their neck for five minutes, my girl really enjoyed it after I got her in. Then into another tub with warm water to rinse for five minutes. (It's also suggested to blow dry them afterwards so they don't get sick. I live in Arizona, I did not blow dry and she's fine.) I had found that idea on here and it worked great! I saw a difference after just the first bath.
