Chickens with Turkeys

is it ok to raise chickens in the same pen as turkeys? Pros and cons?

Raising chickens and turkeys together can be risky because chickens can transmit a disease called Blackhead to turkeys. In addition, the larger turkeys may become aggressive towards the smaller chickens. I personally would not recommend doing it.

I wondered about that disease, seems I heard about it before. So glad that I know before i go and get some. It will be easy to separate them. I am going to use the plamondon hut house. So easy to build and moveable too. Thanks for the info.

heres another I was wondering. will ducks and chickens do okay, or turkeys and ducks or do i need to raise them all separately.
