Would it be ok to mix the sand and peat moss together half/half? Thank you so much by the way

I made mine a medium sand with peat moss. About half and half and a quarter dirt from the run and they don’t go in it either. Did you solve your issue?

Yeah, I took the sand out and filled it with peat moss (enough for them to roll in) and took out the sand. I left it in their coop for a few days and they started using it. To get them comfortable with it, I got food in my hand to try to lure them in which didnt work too well but it might for you. They just have to get comfortable with it first.
