Chickens won't go in coop at night!!!

When I saw your post, I remembered to check on the chickens to make sure they were secure for the night. To my delight, I found the chicks all tucked into the corner of their little enclosure. I think they've figured it out for themselves.

Thanks everyone!

I ended up closing up the whole flock in the coop for like 2 days straight during a storm and that seemed to have reset their habit. Now I find them in the coop after dark without the cat and mouse game.
.. I guess the trick is getting them all in at once!
I would love to do this also but my 3 older hens would pick on the 3 6 month old hens and they would have no place to run if I shut them all up in the coop. If I only lock the new ones in the coop then the older ones will be stuck outside in the run(which has 2 roosts in it also and its still warm here in MN) and the 3 older ones wouldn't be able to get inside to lay eggs. So I wish this would work for me! Great idea if its just all new hens
