Chickens wont go into the coop

Last night I put my silkie chicks outside for the first time, but not in the big girls coop because I wasn't enthused about the big girls acceptance. So they are in their own "coop" which is very temporary.
Now. My hens won't go into their coop. What is up with that?

Are they trying to get to the chicks or are they just perching outside?

They are just perching outside. They finally went inside last night. Idk if it was because of the rain tho. Keeping an eye on them again tonight.
