I have 10 Chicks that are 7 weeks old. I moved them to a coop at 5 weeks. I kept them in the coop 24 hrs for 2 weeks. I just started letting them out in the run the last 2 days. I expected that they would know to put themselves back in the coop at dusk, but they just all find a place in the run to bed down and stay. I have to physically put them in the coop. Am I doing something wrong or is there something else I need to do to get them to go in the coop by themselves at night. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine did it for a good while too so don't worry.. If you leave a light on in the coop for a few nights it may help to show them this is where to go but turn it off after they are all in.. Patience is key
