Chickens won't roost. Why?

Soon they will Roost. Still young....
Chicks that are human raised take longer to roost. Chicks raised by Hens start roosting earlier..Momma teaches them..

So sounds like they are just to young now. Thank folks.

Funny thing is during the day I see them on the roost. And even when they were younger they were up there. But at night, they must like the comfort of everyone around them. They don't go near the roost.

All 8 of mine were stuffed into a 30in roost this morning! It was so funny looking. Checked them at midnight, sprawled out on the floor. So same boat here. Guess they'll grow up soon enough.
