look for lice on the vents as well. You will see clumps that look like mudd. Any runny nose, sneezing etc not good as well. They probally are healthy birds , you jus want to make sure~
petfinders pretty good too but so far like in my area they have A LOT of roosters for adoption, don't get me wrong Petfinder is a great site but I just think it may be better for other animals besides female chickens but I do love www.petfinder.com and use it to look for dogs and cats and horses and other pets and stuff I just think/feel that if you are looking for chickens they have A LOT of roosters at least in my area but if you like and want roosters it's great but if you don't then it can be somewhat annoying/frustrating but its a great site and they do have loads of other pets and birds and stuff even like ducks and i think turkeys and stuff so even though they have a lot of roosters in my area and not as many hens I still think it's a great site that you guys should definately check out. It's www.petfinder.com
