Chickens!

I have one chicken who sounds a little like a turkey, one that makes a heck of a racket that sounds like she is a chicken screaming when I clean their coop, one that made a sound that sounded like a cat, and one that has the tone and pattern of rings of a telephone! What a weird (but wonderful) flock I have! Does anyone else have weird chickens?

I have one who sounded like a duck for the LONGEST time. She's 10 months old now and now sounds like a chicken. Wish I had gotten that on video or audio. She's my favorite bird and probably will always be my favorite. She's the sweetest thing in the whole wide world and I just love her to pieces.




Her name is Honey Bear and she's in my arms. Her sisters are trying to peck at her and get my lap all to themselves.

That seems like something mine would do!! Have you ever had or owned a duck? They have only two volumes: loud and louder!! Especially when they are babies!
