Chickens!

Hi there,

I am new to the site but we have had chickens for 3 years. Our flock was getting a little thin so we decided to let our broody chicken set on some eggs. We got 10 from someone and we candled them today and only 4 seem viable. Is it too late to put more under her? We are on day 6 right now. We were really shooting for about 8. Suggestions.

The problem with that is, after the first chicks hatch she might kick the newer eggsto the curb. If you wanted her to sit on them until that happens maybe you could just move them to an incubator at that point.
