Hi everyone,
the moderator made a fantastic suggestion. we are going to have one thread for CHICKEN SWAPS OF NH for each month. at the end of the month the thread will be locked and a new thread opened.
any swaps done by CHICKEN SWAPS OF NH will be listed and discussed here.
how simple is that!!!

No problem. I just want to help out anyway I can.
I am really hoping it is less windy also. I came home to find one of my barred cochin babies dead and two of the others were almost there. I think the coop got too cold for them. The other two are coming around a little bit

Hoping I got to them in time.

That is so sad! Sorry to hear it. I had to go and check on my small coop when I read this and just re checked it and it is about 50 degrees in there, but I still put a lone hen in with the 3 6 week olds I have in there, maybe they are 7 weeks now I think, I hope she will cuddle with them she has been alone for a long time and is not the best eater. Hopefully this will make her appetite a bit better with the competition at the feed dish!

Ya, I brought the rest back in the bathroom for the night. Donny said it was supposed to get cold so I didn't want to take any chances. I will put them back out there tomorrow morning while we are at the swap.
