Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

Ok so I have many things: ND (neighbors dog) HATES her leash, and people clipping it on or touching it, so when she gets tangled, I have to move quickly to untangle her, which makes her think that I’m playing, which in turn makes her jump on me. Help???
Also, how to prevent jumping? I don’t want to push her down bc I’m pretty sure she’ll think that I’m playing, which worsens the problem. I’ve tried squealing and turning away bc that’s what puppies do when they’re done playing, and it worked at first, but now does not.

One thing at a time. Walk her by herself, not with other dogs. For the tangling, stop untangling her. That's her job. Just stand still and hold your end of it. Be quiet, hold still, be patient. She WILL sort it out, I promise. Then walk again. I'm assuming you have a 4 to 6' leash? 6' is best. If she will walk close to you, gather up the slack and hold it up out of her way, but if she pulls away, let her have the slack, and if she gets tangled repeat the above. Keep walking if you can, stop if you must.

For the jumping up. PM me.

She is being walked by herself.

Yep, I’m good with that.

Anybody know about silken windsprites? (Whippet x sheltie) , or any other sport mixes, like border whippets, bull whippets, etc? Know any reputable sport mix breeders?
I don't know much about dogs but tbh it seems to me that since it's so hard to find reputable breeders for popular stuff like labradoodles it'd be even harder to find reputable breeders for sport crosses
