What's FASTCAT?I'd really like to try FASTCAT with deacon but the offleash part scares me. He'd get distracted and run after a dog. I don't think he'd run with a muzzle on, either. Took me a year to train him just to walk in one

Not sure that a chihuahua could physically pull weights but ok then lol
What's FASTCAT?
Oh trust me... they can. I’ve seen it. Hahah it’s all about proper conditioning and training. If done right, they can actually pull A LOT of weight. Look up chihuahua weight pull. There’s actually several as well as many other small breeds. Not sure that a chihuahua could physically pull weights but ok then lol
That makes sense!
That one was put in that category, but I also can't regularly get to a field or practice that sort of stuff, and I'm worried that if I trained poorly for chasing, we'd have issues with chasing the chickens and other stuff on walks (like how poorly trained bitework causes dogs to bite random stuff)
I do that a lot, feel free to give me a kick in the rear lol
That makes sense!
That's why I love goldens so much- they just care about you so. much. so. much. love.
No, it isn't at all!
Awww that stinks!Yess it seems so fun
when I get my new dog it will open such a BIG door! sport places won't allow us b/c of liability and insurance. Even if he where muzzled the whole time.
Wow, I stand correctedPeople make them out to be made of glass. They are strong little suckers. And believe it or not, weight pull is a low impact sport.

What's the right order to teach commands?
I'm assuming that sit, down, no, drop it, leave it, watch me, and stay are all basics that should be taught first and together
but what about after that?
There is no right order or one thing that works for every dog. It’s all about the individual dog’s progress and how fast they learn things or whatever. I know it’s hard but with dog training there are no exacts or “best” or “right” things. What's the right order to teach commands?
