Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

My favorite horse that I've ridden I think is a color called dun? He's a gold color with a darker stripe down his spine and kinda on his face. He has a dark brown name and tail. His name is Yukon, like a potato.
Yes, that's dun. If you want to get complex, there are shades of dun. I have a smokey dun, I need an updated picture of her though, she's a baby and looks different every time I look at her, she's growing so fast.

if my life goes right and I end up with some land, I'd like to have a pre trained (and probably old and slow) western pleasure horse to ride every once in awhile. I love horses, but I know nothing about training one

Those are the best kind. If it helps, I know LOTS about training them, and I still love to ride my old reliables and not be work-riding sometimes. Nothing wrong with wanting a nice, relaxing walk down the trail!!

when i was at the riding facility, we switched horses because they didn't want to overwork the horses, so when I wasn't riding my favorite, I was riding a very spicy, very young, very exited horse. I loved him, and his energy. but he wasn't my problem to train 🤪

Dont want to get too in deep with a horse I can't train, but man Id really like to try barrel racing
