Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

I love the Hounds, but I cannot own a hound. i need my dog to listen please

but they have the look i just love

I want a basset fauve de *insert french words here*
I love hounds too! I have a houndxGSD mix, he is a little stubborn sometimes, but the German Shepherd is usually pretty easy to train so I think it is a pretty good mix. He looks like a hound, but his fur is thick and lush so its good for going on walks in the winter.
Here is a picture of him sleeping on the couch:

Raw would be WAY expensive for mastiffs, I would suggest canidae, Taste of the wild, Orijen, Victor, Wellness core, theres a few others.
I like Taste of the Wild. I feel like my dogs really like it. Also I think it is really healthy too. I do give my dog some food scraps too (avoiding poisonous foods like onions). I've read about it and I've gathered that it's sometimes good to have few other foods that aren't dry. It also helps prevent imbalances I believe.

I find it hilarious

I have nothing against collies, it just makes me nervous to try to get into dog spots with a breed that isn't a herding breed

they just dominate because they are so fast, and easy to train. But I've seen goldens compete against the border collies and they still do wonderfully. The best breeds for agility IMO aren't even the herding breeds, they don't use their brains and while they are fast, they make mistakes. I like the spaniels, and the sporting group dogs..
