yeah a pyredoodle is a bad idea. Pyrenean Sheepdogs are really hard to train, as my dog trainer friends say. High energy, but stubborn.

It’s with a Great Pyrenees not that one but still a terrible idea. Actually worse cause Pyrs are huge and structurally is horrible. Also Pyrs do not make good pets yet are becoming so common as pets

oh why am I literally so stupid-

my neighbor has a great pyr and its always barking. They are really sweet but they go coo coo with nothing to protect.

You just must really like and know that breed and jump there.

I had a Pyr/Lab mix and know several other Pyrenees mixes (but crossed with lots of other stuff too lol) and I love them and they were/are great but definitely have their issues and not exactly pets lol ours barked a ton and wanted to roam but I think a lot of it is training too because my dad let him do whatever whereas my brother and SILs mixes are very trained. But they also have some easier to train mixes mixed in lol

But so many people get them for pets and like yeah, they’re sweet and loving and “easier” than a lot of the other LGD breeds but they’re also massive, super furry, drooly (OH MY GOD SO MUCH DROOL), stubborn, roamers, BARKERS, and like a million other things that mean horrible pets lol but they do attach to their human “flock” super well too

I mean obviously nobody is keeping pyrenean shepherds as pets- they are rare. There goes my brain again.. jeez.

Yeah true! I was like “aren’t those really rare?” doubt they’d cross them with poodle too with the rarity haha
