My breeder invited me out to Kansas to handle some of their carolina dogs.

This weekend I'm also trailing my friends dog in rally

anddd i'm going to start working on trumans training

I want to stat doing rally with Finn but he doesn't know how to heel
I've been too nervous to teach him heeling bc I'm lowkey afraid I'll mess it up but I just decided to go for it
then we can start training for rally signs

like 99% of days i'm like 'yeah i know what my *entire life's plan is*' and other days i'm like 'but.......*gestures to picture of thing that I want*'

I hate to break it to you... that goes on forever! I *still* know what my entire (rest of)life plan is... but then something comes along and the plan gets cut apart, something added, and then taped back together. It never stops!

And that is what makes it interesting and keeps me young! Well, young-ish.

Must be nice. I'm only 68 and have not yet decided what I wanna be when I grow up. Something to do with dogs and horses, though, definitely!

This one of the things worrying me the most, I don’t even know what I can even do! I really want to do something with service/working dogs, I would be most interested in the breeding side of the service dogs or doing something with mushing

If I were to get involved in dogs, I'd like to continue with conformation, scent work, and rally/obedience, although I may want to, at some point, branch out into other sports (disc dog and dock diving are ooooh, and fast CAT seems fun and easy to get into with a speedy dog) but eventually, if I get good enough, I'd like to train SAR dogs.
Outside of dogs, I want to do something math related and definitely something animal related
Maybe I could have two jobs: dog trainer and math person lol
